25 years

I don't post a lot on here about my diabetes but I thought I would today...

 25 years ago today I was diagnosed with diabetes. I saw this the other day and thought it was perfect for describing life with diabetes.

That is definitly how I have been living my life and how I was raised to do so. Diabetes will never rule my life. I will not allow it to!  Yes, it is always there and I have to pause life to treat a low or whatever else it throws at me.Thank you to my family and friends who have been there to let me vent or offer me a snack :)

 Today I felt like I was kicking diabetes butt when my A1C came back as...

And after 25 years I have one thing to say to diabetes... I want a divorce!!
