A Year in Pictures: Day 327-329

What a weekend!! It was a busy, fun, productive and relaxing weekend. We drove over 700 miles in 36 hours to spend Thanksgiving with family and then continue onto Pullman to watch the Cougars beat the Huskies in overtime!! What an amazing game and I'm so glad we were there to watch it. It was then back home after the game. Saturday we relaxed a little bit and went and bought our Christmas lights. Today was very productive with rearranging the living room, cleaning and Mr. J raking leaves. Now to get ready for the week! Only four more weeks until break...not that I'm counting :-)

A Year in Pictures: Day 326

Happy Thanksgiving! We are on our way to my Aunt's house to celebrate with family. Then it is on to Pullman to cheer on the Cougars! I will be posting my pic of the day when we return. But since it is a day of being thankful I thought I would share what I'm thankful for.

This what happens now that there are little kids again the big kids want to play with the toys too.

I'm thankful for my family.
I'm thankful for my fiance who I met three years ago this week.

I'm thankful for my puppy Stout.

I'm thankful for my wonderful job and teammates! I'm also thankful for my friends. I'm thankful for all of the wonderful blogs and teaching ideas I have discovered on here.

A Year of Pictures: Day 324-325 and TpT

I survived conferences! I even received a cookie and sweet note from my former 5th grade teacher. It was great being able to meet with all of the parents and chat. I have a very support group of parents! Now on to Thanksgiving and Pullman for Apple Cup.

I also took the plunge and have opened my own TpT store. I have two items currently up and will very slowly add more to it. Both items are free until 9pm tonight. Then the math one will be available for purchase. Both items are gingerbread theme. The first freebie is a recording sheet for listening centers (always free) and the other is a math activity where students have to decide if the equation is true or false. I hope you check them out!

A Year in Picture: Day 315

Did another trip to the dump this morning to get rid of stuff from the previous owners. They had left a lot of stuff behind! Then we had my Aunt and Great Uncle over for dinner. My Great Uncle was in town for some Veteran's Day fun. It was nice seeing both of them and giving my Great Uncle the cards my students made him.

A Year in Pictures: Day 314

We had a productive Saturday. We woke up early to load the truck with branches. It only took 2 trips to get rid of all of the branches. We were done by lunchtime. Then it was a little relaxation before heading out to dinner with a friend. Now we are watching the game in front of the fire.

Stout even gets to be on the couch tonight

You should go checkout Sarah @ Kindergarten Korner new Thanksgiving unit. It looks like so much fun!

A Year in Pictures: Day 305 and 306 Plus Currently

I feel like every week is so busy and I'm always playing catchup. We had a half day furlough day today. I really just wanted to sneak back into my classroom to work instead I was good and went home. But don't worry I brought home plenty of work plus my school computer. Mr. J decided that he needed a three day weekend so him and Stout stayed home this morning. We also did a Costco run today.
Day 305: Picked up my November Subway Art

Day 306: Framed our engagement pic tonight. Now to get Mr. J to hang it up!

Now on to the November Currently. Go link up with Farely at

Watching: Mr. J and I have started watching the Sherlock Homes series. I'm totally addicted.
Loving: We finally have a planned weekend at home to do some work and relax!
Thinking: My team and principal have been talking so much about our low readers and what we are doing to help them. I'm consistently thinking about them.
Wanting: I could go for a good cup of tea but I don't want to move off the couch. Maybe Mr. J will get me one :-)
Needing: I need to someone to help lick all of our save the dates. Mr. J volunteered Stout but I think he might nibble them instead of lick.
Music: I play Beethoven's Moonlight CD that I got from Target during our writing time. The rule is you have to be able to hear the music so no talking :-)

Alright so now your turn to go link up!
