Bridesmaids!

I hope everyone is enjoying their week! Today I wanted to give you a closer look at my meet the maids board I made for one of my showers.I saw a bunch on pinterest and had to do it for my girls!

Bridal Party Gifts

Today I'm here to share the gifts that Mr. J and I got for our bridal party.

We got the groomsmen a beer mug with their name on it and a pair of reef sandals that has a bottle opener on the bottom!

For our bridesmaids we got them LL Bean tote bags that I had a local lady embroidered

The girls also got towels

And a swimsuit coverup. My friends mom embroidered the towels and coverups.

 Today we are doing last minute wedding plans!



 

We Are Off!!

Who would of thought that today is finally the day we are leaving for Hawaii!

Starting to Think...

Well with 16 days until our wedding and 10 days before we leave for Hawaii I'm starting to think about school. I told a friend the other day that I take a break from wedding stuff by looking at school stuff. I have been keeping up on reading all of the blogs I follow and have been taking notes of ideas and things I want to get. So finally last night I bought a few items from TpT and today I met with one of my teammates to talk about school. Not sure that we made any progress but it was nice to start thinking about school! I also brought home the new writing curriculum we will be using this fall. Below are the two goodies I got last night. Click the pics to buy yours!

Mustache Bash!

A big HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Mr. J. We are having a relaxing day movie and dinner out. Mr. J also took the day off from work to celebrate his birthday. We already had our big celebration for him last weekend in Newport, Or. It has become the tradition to go to Newport for the weekend around his birthday with our friends. This was our 3rd year and we always theme it :-) We spend the weekend at Rogue's B&B (beer and bed). Basically we live above a bar for the weekend. Don't worry we also make it to the beach and to some of the shops. Each year we find something new to checkout! Now for the pics!

Sunday Smorgasbord

I decided to link up with Michelle from Fabulous in First for Sunday Smorgasbord! 

So here goes nothing!


1. Monday was my Mom's birthday so I went over to have lunch with my family and to get Stout. After being away from him for 9 days I was happy to see the little guy. Stout felt the same way when he saw Mr. J that night!

2. It was so hot when we got home that we slept down in the basement for two nights. So Stout made the most of the airbed on Tuesday morning. But then it gets worse I took the airbed down to only put it back up on Thursday so Mr. J, Stout and I could cuddle. But some how I got the couch instead.

3. After running around Monday and Tuesday. I spent Wednesday at home cleaning the office out. Then the 4th we stuck around the house hanging out. The sun finally came out in the late afternoon so we filled up the kiddie pool and I got to use my new towel.

4. Friday and Saturday we did some work outside on the front flowerbed. It totally needed some tlc. We still have to replace all of the wood one day and add some more bark later today!

Cougs and Cocktails

I hope everyone is enjoying the weekend! Stout is totally confused on what day it is because Mr. J has been home since Thursday and doesn't go back to work until Tuesday. We have been busy doing little projects around the house and enjoying the sun!I'm starting to think about school and working on some stuff but for now I'm back to shower my other wedding shower I had at the end of June. My mom and bestie hosted a shower for me with the theme of cougs and cocktails! They did an amazing job!! I had a blast seeing friends and family plus the weather was amazing! I will let the pics explain the rest!

I got lots of lovely gifts these pics are of some of them. Cougar pjs, a cougar birdhouse and a Mrs. hanger for my wedding dress. 

 

 

Couples Shower

I thought I would do some catchup now that we have been home, the school year in done and I'm no longer sick! I'm going to start with our couples shower we had in the beginning of June. Mr. J's mom, sister and our friend Katie hosted the shower for us. The theme was beer and bikinis (don't worry no one wore their bikini) I helped with the invite but everything else was them. We had so much fun seeing family and getting to hangout. We also had fun playing madlibs and he said, she said. Here are some pics from the shower.
