Happy Halloween! Had a busy day at school with a class party. Now I'm answering the door for trick or treaters. Stout is not fond of the doorbell that keeps going off.

Had another walking field trip today. This time the weather was not so nice but luckily we just had to walk across the street to the library. When I got home tonight our save the dates were waiting for me! Now to get some rest to deal with Halloween tomorrow!!

A Year in Pictures: Day 302

Pretty sure I barely got to teach anything today. We had an assembly this morning and then a walking field trip to the farmers market. The first graders got to use chalk to decorate the sidewalks for the fall harvest celebration at the farmers market. They had so much getting to draw but they ended up really messy.

I have been fighting a cold all week! Finally was able to get some rest this weekend but then we didn't get to go to Portland for our Halloween fun. We did how ever get some of our wedding registry done online and I picked up our photo book at Costco.

No idea where the past few days has gone. Sunday I went to another place to try dresses on. It was a total bust! Yesterday was a typical Monday at school. But today we had so much fun starting our new social studies unit. We started our frieze or I like to call it a map.

Productive Saturday! Which included two trips to Home Depot and three closets with shelving. Plus we picked up pumpkins and the upstairs floors got cleaned. I also ordered our guest book and last night I ordered our save the date! Now ending the night with Madagascar 3 and Motorcross.

Finally put up some decorations yesterday. I still need to add more to it but at least I have something up now!

We had our engagement pics this morning and luckily the rain didn't start until we finished! So excited to see a few of the pics tomorrow! We also made the decision to book the same photographer for our wedding!! Another big item off our list now to find a dress and outfits for the guys. We spent the rest of the day watching football and decorating.

A Year in Pictures: Day 285 and 286

Last night was movie night and just relaxing after a busy week. Which meant going to bed super early and sleeping in. Today was a busy day of errands but fun because I got to have lunch with Miss. She gave me the best engagement card! Plus she always has me laughing :-) Now to gather everything for tomorrow. But before I let you go here is a funny story I forgot to share from Thursday.

Student: Miss N I'm bleeding
Me: (Looking at his hands that are covered in red ink from stamping his sight words.) It's just the ink from the stamp pad.
Student: But when I touch the table it comes off.
Me: Trying washing your hands and we will see if you are still bleeding.
That solved the problem but he was very concerned and serious when telling me :-)

Alright time to iron. Wish me Luck!!

Had a productive day at school and at home.

Listening: Giuliana and Bill what can I say love watching it!

Loving: We have so much this month going on. Last weekend I was in Portland pretending to be a model for a family friend who makes custom wedding dresses. This weekend we have Engagement Pics and lunch with Miss. Then dress shopping the next. The last weekend we get to go out for Halloween and do one of our registries!!  Super excited for all of our fun but also looking forward to a weekend just at home in November.

Think: I have so many errands to run before Sunday. I need last minute stuff for Sunday and then just some errands in general to do.

Wanting: I'm sure you now can guess why I want it to be Sunday and then next weekend :-) 

Needing: I feel so behind on my housework. I could use a cleaning fairy.

Book: I love Spookley and I'm excited to order the new one from Scholastic for November.
