New Year?

So a friend and I were having lunch earlier in the week and we we talking about the "new year". I was telling her that maybe it is that I have been in school for some many years and now I'm a teacher too. Or that my Birthday is in September but I think in school years/my age. So when January 1 rolls around I feel like I'm still in the early stages of my year. I wonder if this will ever change. But regardless I hope everyone had a good new years. We spent it with friends down in Vancouver.Now to continue my year!! Only 8more months until my year starts over :)
