Sunday Smorgasbord 7.13

I hope everyone is staying cool! It is very hot for the Pacific Northwest! So in an attempt to stay cool we went into Seattle yesterday to do some beer tasting! We met up with our friends and had fun checking out three different breweries. We also made a stop at the WSU Connection store for some cheese and a new sign that I needed :) Plus I got to see my friend at the store and I got a little cheese bag!

Today we spent the day picking stuff around the house. I also ran to Hallmark to pickup an ornament.

Stout is ready for the hot weather that is suppose to continue this week!

Sunday Smorgasbord: Cali Edition

Look what happens when it is summer... I blog a little bit more! I'm linking Michelle from Fabulous in First for

 
 I have been in Cali since late Thursday night checking on my Great Uncle with my Mom. Mr. J happened to be in town on business so he spent Friday and Saturday with us. We dropped him off at the airport this morning. So here are some random pics from the weekend!

We then went to Mahattan Beach for lunch. After lunch we grabbed some ice cream and this was the display case there. I wanted to try it all.

It's a tradition to take our picture out front of the house and now Mr. J has his picture taken out front too.

My Mom had to cook fish tonight. She was not a fan :)

We ran to grab a few things for my uncle and I found myself a new sleeping mask except I picked a different color.

Sunday Smorgasbord

I decided to link up with Michelle from Fabulous in First for Sunday Smorgasbord! 

So here goes nothing!


1. Monday was my Mom's birthday so I went over to have lunch with my family and to get Stout. After being away from him for 9 days I was happy to see the little guy. Stout felt the same way when he saw Mr. J that night!

2. It was so hot when we got home that we slept down in the basement for two nights. So Stout made the most of the airbed on Tuesday morning. But then it gets worse I took the airbed down to only put it back up on Thursday so Mr. J, Stout and I could cuddle. But some how I got the couch instead.

3. After running around Monday and Tuesday. I spent Wednesday at home cleaning the office out. Then the 4th we stuck around the house hanging out. The sun finally came out in the late afternoon so we filled up the kiddie pool and I got to use my new towel.

4. Friday and Saturday we did some work outside on the front flowerbed. It totally needed some tlc. We still have to replace all of the wood one day and add some more bark later today!
