So...

So... I totally suck at blogging. This is not the first time that I have said this. But I think this is the biggest gap I have had yet.

So...Recaping from April. School year ended well for both grad school and the classroom. I ended up getting really sick the last few days of school. I ended up at Kinder graduation with an ear infection, pink eye and no vioce. But I made it through and picked up my friend from the airport for the weekend. We played tourist in Seattle and went to so many places! I also went to Brittany Spears with my cousins so much fun :-) Justin and I had a night getaway to Leavenworth.

Summer was not so jammed packed like last year. From all of the medicine I was on for being sick. I broke out in a rash on the 4th of July. But by the next weekend I was ready to celebrate Justin's B-day in Newport, OR. We had so much fun staying at Rouge's B&B (Bed and Beer).

Grad School for the summer started that Monday and that was my life for the next 4 weeks. I did manage to squeeze in some fun by doing the Warrior Dash with Justin!

The past month had been relaxing. Hanging out, a trip to Chelan, boating, baseball games, preseason football games and just having fun. I also donated 10 inches of my hair. My birthday was relaxing. Now it is working two jobs and enjoying the next couple weeks off before grad school starts again.  Plus all the fun activities we have planned in October.

OH MY!!!

Decided maybe I should finally blog because it has been awhile. That is an understatement!!! I went to look at the last time I blogged it was the weekend after I started grad school. I guess it is true that grad school takes up all of my extra time and more. That is not to say that I have been having some fun in between. Thank goodness I have Justin to edit my papers and cook me dinner when I'm stressing. So let's see a quick update. Halloween was a blast with Katie and Neil. Thanksgiving we split out time between our two families but had a fun night with friends in Vancouver. We moved the into our apartment the weekend I was wrapping up my first quarter of grad school. Christmas we once again split our time between our two families. My cousin had her second kid on Christmas Day. We met Hilton in early January. New Years was spent with the Seiferts dance battling and a Seahawk game. Justin passed his CPA and I threw him a surprise party in February. My baby brother celebrated his 21st Birthday on Feb. 7. Teaching is going great!! I love my kiddos. Now we move into the busier time of year with more road trips to Battle Ground and more plans on the weekend. I'm looking forward to a weekend in April getting all glamed up with Kaite ;-) Here are some pics from the past few months.

Blink of an Eye

Blink of an eye and it is already October. We went to Pullman for a game in September. We had so much fun running around campus. We hit up the bookie, crimson and grey and the creamery. The best thing about this trip was the discovery of the palouse falls brewery. We really enjoyed sitting on the patio try all of their beers and just talking. It was a great trip just the two of us only following our schedule.
Last weekend I got to go to Borders and meet Mo Willems!!! It was amazing:) My mom was great and came with me for the day. We got our bracelets and went shopping for the day until it was time to meet Mo. He was so entertaining!!! I feel so lucky that I got to go.
Saturday and Sunday we spent at home relaxing. Justin's parents came for a quick visit on Saturday. It is always great to see them. Now onto the week work, meetings, pumpkin hunting and then grad school starts.

Summer Rewind

So I guess I'm really bad about keeping up with my blog during the summer:( So lets just do a summer rewind to recap everything that happened...

We made a trip down to Bend, Or. for Justin's cousin's wedding. We had lots of fun eating lunch at a brewery. Plus us girls went shopping!!! The following weekend we were back down for Justin's nephews' baptism and dinner with Katie and Neil. What can I say we like to drive down to Battle Ground a lot. In between the weekends we were both working and trying to keep up on the apt.
During this time too by cousin's husband was in a horrible accident and spent 20 days in Harborview. It was very scary but luckily he is home now resting and on the long road to recovery. The only positive of this was I got to see my cousin more than usual and her adorable daughter Brooklyn.
Summer school ended the first Friday of August and that was the kickoff to my vacation. With our friends wedding that was so gorgeous and so much fun. I then went to Vegas with my mom and best friend to celebrate my 25Th birthday early. It was nice to lay at the pool, see an old friend and go and see the Thunder from Down Under(Got pulled up on stage) Plus I got my picture with a lion cub!!

Came back from Vegas to working at the cougar store and hoping for a job. Just when it looked like I would be subbing bam a job as a kindergarten teacher. So I have hit the ground running wondering if I really even took time off this summer with everything we did. It was a fun summer but very busy. Hoping next summer involves a little less travel.
To end our summer we headed back down to Battle Ground for Whit and Lips wedding reception and for Justin to take his last CPA exam:)

The first week of school has now come and gone and we are off to a good start. I could of not gotten by art room I mean classroom together without Justin and my Mom. I love my kids and the parents are great. The first day the kids came was also my birthday. I had so many birthday wishes from family and friends. That I feel really loved. Plus my brother surprised me with his gift and Justin got me what I asked for a penguin (OK it's a necklace shaped like a penguin but I love it!!)
From now on I'm hoping to be better with blogging that way I don't have so much to write about. Next up...Battle Ground, Pullman, apartment shopping and the start of grad school. Maybe one day we won't be so busy. HAHA probably not:)
I <3 my life!!!
