We had a nice day doing a little work around the house. Then we headed out to dinner for an early birthday celebration for my Mom. Then it was off to go see the King Tut exhibit at the Pacific Science Center. But when I got home tonight I think the mailman was trying to tell me something. Just a note these are not mine (haven't had time to change my address) and they are not the name of the person that lived here before us but they are the correct address. Wonder what the mailman was trying to tell me...

Stout and I had a nice morning walk in the drizzle. All of these other states are talking about heat I would like a little. Then I headed into work but not before I stopped and picked up my Skippyjon Jones at Kohls :-)

Today Stout is 6months old!! It also meant today was the day that this mean mommy had him fixed. It was weird not having my shadow around. But he is back now and fighting to stay awake and follow me around.

Had a productive day. Stout and I went for a jog this morning. Then we planted some flowers. I took another chunk out of my hours. Just doing the final touches to them! Then we had Brooke over for the afternoon. Went to puppy class and came home and made individual cheesecakes from the boozy baker cookbook.

We had a busy day. I went and got my hair cut first thing this morning. I took 4inches off so it is super short for me. My Dad came over while I was gone and started working on the stairs with Mr. J again today. They now look fabulous! My Mom came over when I got back to help work on the front flowerbeds. They look so much better. We bought some plants that need to be planted later this week. And two chairs for the deck. Pretty good day beside smashing my finger. Now onto finishing a few hours for grad school and I will be all done by Saturday!! I will do a post later of the stairs and flowerbeds.

My Parents came over today to do some work. My Dad and Mr. J worked on the deck stairs. My Mom and I tackled some bushes in the front yard :-)

Spent the morning working on my hours. Almost done!! Then I went to a retirement party for a dear friend. Can't believe she is retiring and moving to CA. It was great to see so many familiar faces.

I got to sub in one of my favorite rooms today. The kiddos are so sweet and their teacher totally rocks! Then it was off to puppy class.

Had a doctors appointment today and then met my Mom at Michaels. Then we headed to my house for lunch and then to work on the front flower bed. It was a jungle! Thanks for all your help Mom!!!

Had my last grad school class. Now to just finish up hours and I will be already for graduation in less than 2 weeks!! We had to celebrate in the parking lot :-)

My parents came over and pressure washed the driveway, sidewalk and house. Mr. J took down the stairs on the deck. The house looks nice and clean. Stout had a vet visit for a shot and nail trim. But he ended up with a the cone of shame because he chewed his tail. I guess he will be wearing it for awhile.
